Thanks for your time

                                                         Thanks for your time
                                                      Thanks for the great time
                                                             It's been a blast
But now it's time to depart
                                                      Thanks for the homework
                                                         Thanks for the maths
                                                         Thanks for sports day
                                                             And every mass
                                                      I'll never forget the nativity
Or all the friends I've made
                                                          Thanks for everything
And for listening to this poem I made

Time to hit the road

Starting from day one life's been fun,
But time flies when you're having fun,
The years went by in the blink of an eye,
Maths lesson after maths lesson,
Mistake after mistake,
Break after break,
Game after game,
And friend after friend,
A new life awaits around the bend.

Moving On

Time passes,when we enjoy ourselves
But doesn't come back, that's why
We all need to move on

All those fun moments we have had,

comes back into flashes of time,
those depressing moments to cheerful ones
Always makes tears drop dawn our eyes,
Time is as fast as a flash
But as sweet as a rose.

Moving on

Through 7 years,
Of laughter and joy,
It's time to move on,
And say goodbye.

Like the howl of the wolf,
Sad and scary,
High school will be a challenge,
And so will leaving.

Memories forever,
Friends for a lifetime,
What does the future hold?
Lets find out!

Primary school goodbye

Primary school was such fun
But now I'm moving on to S1
It's been the time of my life
It's been a roller coster ride
It's been as sweet as honey
Now it's time to forget bad times
And focus on good times
Goodbye primary school goodbye

Mystery

BANG!  I heard a loud noise in the woods.  My dog got startled and ran away.  I shouted, "Paddy!Paddy!"  I got no response so I ran frantically shouting his name over and over...then I stopped and I stared.  In front of me  I saw a little house or what was left of it, but it was out of the ordinary as it had large majestic trees sprouting out the top of it.  It had no doors and it was made out of stone bricks.  There were leaves trailing down the walls, moss was growing in-between the bricks.  The flowers made the air smell nice and fresh.

Abandoned

Debris littered the ground, bullet shells and shards of glass glinted in the dim light of the fast fading sun.  As I walked down the path of cracked flag stones I became more and more apprehensive but I forced myself onward.  It had been years since I had been back but I could still remember every twist, turn, passage and path... or at least how it used to be.  The seemingly endless meadow of pansies and tulips had disappeared and in it's place a patch of dirt and sand was left as was what used to be a beautiful garden of fountains and mazes.  Seeing this I hoped the house had been the mainly protected point (but secretly I braced myself for the horribly inevitable truth).  As I turned the bend that truth was realised; what had happened here?  Ivy and weeds draped the once great house and nearly succeeded in hiding the broken windows and empty rooms from my tear-filled eyes.  This was my home ... And I had destroyed it!
